I’m excited these were polarized. Light weight, comfortable to wear and look very similar to classic Ray-Bans.
I ended up really loving these glasses. I wasn’t sure at first, as I’m used to glasses being a little heavier than these are. But that actually ended up being a good thing. The are very light, and hold my head just enough that they feel secure, but don’t cause any discomfort in my temples. I have a larger head, and these are a perfect fit. The interchangeable nose pieces are a nice touch, but I found myself not needing the extra set that the glasses came with.I’ve always been one to never spend more than $40 on a pair of glasses. But these look and feel like they will last me a long time. The frames are flexible, so in the event an accidental sitting happens, I should be ok.The only complaint I have, is the Fire Iridium lenses sometimes will cause glare spots to double a bit. For example, driving on the highway during certain times of day, the tail lights on a vehicle might ghost just slightly. Some people may find this really distracting, but I got used to it in a matter of a week. I looked into this, thinking it was a problem with the glasses or that maybe I ended up with a counterfeit pair of glasses, but soon came to the conclusion after browsing Oakley forums (yes, people love Oakleys that much) its a fairly common occurrence with the Fire Iridium lenses.Outstanding sunglasses, regardless of style, light and comfortable to wear and even driving for hours into the sun they protect my eyes and don’t leave my eyes feeling strained.
