I was trying to make the decision to spend or not spend $260 on new prescription sunglasses. I thought if I could get fit-overs, that might work for me since I really only needed sunglasses for driving.I fully understand that it’s usually you get what you pay for. In this instance, I was pleasantly wrong. Last time I needed fit-over sunglasses, I purchased $50 Cocoons. I got new glasses (larger frame) and was in need of another pair, so looked up Cocoons on Amazon then saw lots of other, much less expensive options in fit-over sunglasses.I picked the cheapest ones I could find, thinking that since I was only testing them and would most likely end up just ordering prescription sunglasses, I didn’t want to test on a relatively expensive pair of fit-overs.My criteria were that they actually fit OVER my prescription glasses (not just up against.. I needed them to have a good fit so vision isn’t impeded), I also needed polarized lenses, and finally I didn’t want them to end up so large that I look like a fly.I had them delivered with next day shipping because the sale at the eyeglasses place ended soon and I need to make a decision fast. I am so please at the perfect fit. I was a little conservative in the measurements (like if my lenses were 40mm, I didn’t go for 40mm in the fit-overs.. I went larger).I’ve made the decision to stick with these and forego prescription sunglasses for now (although the $260 pair of Ray Bans I picked out were a lot cuter, but not $260 worth of cute).I highly recommend these fit-over sunglasses.
very pretty but a bit larger than I expected.Love these glasses and they’re comfortable and super cute.
